A visit to Atlantic City to see Joel McHale from The Soup - July 2012

After a very long hiatus I am back to post some water tower pictures from the last year and a half.

In July 2012 we took the train to Atlantic City (on a whim) to see Joel McHale from the Soup. Always a fan of the train we got to see lots of watertowers along the way. Not to mention a couple of beautifully painted towers at the beach. I was going to add a few non-watertower pictures for good measure but I just realized I didn't take any. I do remember taking some recycling bin pictures along the boardwalk too but none of Owen and I:) See where my priorities lie?

It is sad to think that just a couple of months after we visited Hurricane Sandy came through. Hopefully the watertowers are still standing proud.

Count them - 3 - watertowers outside Phili once we changed from Amtrak to the commuter train

We could see this pretty painted water tower from our hotel room but since we trained to the beach we didn't have a car in which to drive to get this picture. So we hailed a cab and asked the guy to stop on the side of the road so I could get this photo.

Atlantic City, NJ also has this great fish water tower. Again, the cab driver helped us get this photo.
