Vacation to Chicago - Part 2 - September 2014

Did you know there is a very old historic water tower in downtown Chicago that is absolutely beautiful? I did because of someone that submitted it to me in 2006! So when we visited we had to go for our selves.

The area, along with a mall, is named after it. I am not a professional photographer (as you can tell) but this was so tall I had trouble getting a good picture of it.

Isn't this water tower grand? Such great architecture from our municipal forefathers.
We were too late for the small tour unfortunately.

Across the street from the tower is a pumping station that has similar architecture but still works. You can take a tour.
