H2O - Water Towers, Etc.

12/04-Driving from Columbia, MO to Raleigh, NC I noticed water towers in the distance, some from miles away. Most often they showed the town's name so you would know where you were without the map. I wish I started to take pictures on that trip, but the idea of logging H2O towers was only in its infancy. This blog came almost a year later when I realized I really enjoy taking the back road to find what neat H2O towers exist. Feel free to post a link or story about your town's local H2O tower.

More pictures from Mom

Here are some pictures from my Mom's travels around Missouri. When she took these pictures she called me in the middle of the day, all excited, because she had just seen a stealth bomber fly over her. Unfortunately that picture didn't come out but some great water tower pictures did.

California. MO.

It looks like Mom traveled Highway 50 through Missouri as you can see from the map linked above.

Who knew there was a sunny California in MO.

Sedalia. MO.

She said this looked like an old abandoned factory.

Warrensburg. MO.

The tower says Missouri American Water Company.
