The commute

Each morning we drove from Mobile to Orange Beach. Quite a trip with lots of water towers.

Loxley. AL.

It is hard to see but this tower had a flag on the side of it.

Foley. AL.

There is an interesting story about Foley. Years ago, when Owen and I drove to a family reunion at Gulf Shores in his old station wagon our car broke down and we had to spend the day in Foley while it was being repaired.













I remember eating in this drug store soda fountain, reading in the library and hanging out at their old train station while we waited for our car to be repaired.

Then each day we made it to Orange Beach where the conference was being held.
