H2O - Water Towers, Etc.

12/04-Driving from Columbia, MO to Raleigh, NC I noticed water towers in the distance, some from miles away. Most often they showed the town's name so you would know where you were without the map. I wish I started to take pictures on that trip, but the idea of logging H2O towers was only in its infancy. This blog came almost a year later when I realized I really enjoy taking the back road to find what neat H2O towers exist. Feel free to post a link or story about your town's local H2O tower.

Work Trip #7 - Charlotte, Again - October 4, 2006

Charlotte. NC.

On a trip to Charlotte for work this week, I missed my exit and found these cool water towers while getting lost. They were at the intersection of Brookshire Rd and Beatties Ford Rd. It is a historic area and the public building is called the Vest Water Treatment Facility.

I really was in awe of them although this picture isn't that great to show it. I had to take it with my camera phone since I wasn't officially water tower hunting.
