San Fransisco. CAA very famous location in San Fransisco, Alcatraz, has it's own water tower. We didn't visit this but could see it from the shore.
Like most big cities the water towers were on top of big buildings. Like this one here.
Valley Ford. CA. We then drove up the coast towards Oregon on highway 1. We saw a few old wooden water towers in Valley Ford, CA and near Jenner, CA. These towns were so small I was surprised to see a water tower at all. I assume they are still in use.
Crescent City. CA.
Then on our way out of CA we spent the night in Crescent City.
They had a water tank with an excellent mural.
