12/04-Driving from Columbia, MO to Raleigh, NC I noticed water towers in the distance, some from miles away. Most often they showed the town's name so you would know where you were without the map. I wish I started to take pictures on that trip, but the idea of logging H2O towers was only in its infancy. This blog came almost a year later when I realized I really enjoy taking the back road to find what neat H2O towers exist. Feel free to post a link or story about your town's local H2O tower.

Meghan in Mason Michigan
Mason. MI.
I begged Meghan to take a picture of a water tower with snow on the ground when she was home in Michigan over Thanksgiving. The barn in the picture is just topping on the cake.
This is a pretty cool H20 tower. It reminded me that the tower in my hometown is pretty neat. It was painted in 1976 (Bi-Centennial) with an American flag theme. It is pretty much the highlight of the town and I will have to get a picture for you.
I enjoyed seeing the photo of the water tower. I drive by it everday as I head out of town, it is a nice pic, much better than the way I have viewed it.
